When you sign up with us, we're gonna need some basics to get you started:

• Health & Fitness Data: Any medical conditions, injuries, fitness goals - helps us keep you safe and get results
• Training Records: Session attendance, workout logs, progress tracking if you're doing personal training
• Emergency Contact: Someone we can call if something goes wrong during training

We also use security cameras throughout the facility for everyone's safety. Footage is kept for 30 days then automatically deleted unless there's an incident.

We're not in the business of spamming you or selling your data. Here's what we actually do with your info:

• Running Your Membership: Processing payments, managing access to the gym, tracking attendance
• Training Support: Personalizing workout programs, tracking your progress, nutrition coaching
• Safety First: Keeping medical info on file in case of emergencies, monitoring facility access
• Communication: Class updates, schedule changes, occasional promotions (you can opt out anytime)
• Improving Services: Understanding what's working and what's not, planning new classes based on member interest

We'll occasionally send emails about new classes or special events, but we're not gonna flood your inbox. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime - won't affect your membership at all.

Your data security matters. We've got multiple layers of protection in place:

• Encrypted Storage: All personal info is encrypted both in transit and at rest
• Secure Payment Processing: We use PCI-compliant payment processors - we never see or store your full card details
• Limited Access: Only staff who need your info to do their job can access it

Nothing's 100% bulletproof, but we take this stuff seriously and stay up to date with security best practices. If there's ever a breach, we'll let you know right away.

• Delete Your Data: Cancel your membership and request deletion (we keep some stuff for legal/accounting reasons for 7 years)

• Download Your Data: Get a copy of everything we have on you in a readable format
• Object to Processing: Tell us if you don't want us using your data for certain purposes

• Marketing Preferences: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Training Logs: While you're active, then deleted 1 year after membership ends (unless you want them sooner)

After these periods, data is securely deleted from our systems. We don't hoard old information unnecessarily.

Our programs are designed for adults 18+. If you're under 18 and wanna train with us, we need a parent or guardian to sign up on your behalf and be present during training.

We don't knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent. If we find out we've collected info from someone under 18 without proper authorization, we'll delete it immediately.

We might update this policy from time to time as our business evolves or laws change. When we do, we'll:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Send an email to active members if there are significant changes
• Post a notice at the front desk for a few weeks

We won't make major changes without giving you a heads up. If you keep using the gym after changes are posted, that means you're cool with the updated policy.
